We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Coordinator to lead our operations in Tampa, Florida. This crucial role involves overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing inventory, coordinating shipping and receiving, and ensuring the overall efficiency and safety of our logistics operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement control measures to ensure accuracy.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
- Ensure efficient loading and unloading of trucks, maintaining schedules.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce best practices in logistics and warehouse management.
- Manage warehouse equipment and ensure its proper maintenance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in a warehouse coordination or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Solid understanding of logistics, inventory management, and supply chain principles.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 40 pounds.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and knowledge of PPE requirements.
