About
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Warehouse Supervisor to lead our team in Austin, Texas. In this critical role, you will oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of all incoming and outgoing goods. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of warehouse associates, optimizing workflows, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring adherence to all Safety regulations and company policies. You will play a key role in managing the overall Logistics process, from receiving to shipping, and will be responsible for training and developing your team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse best practices. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) is highly desirable. This position requires the ability to motivate a team, resolve conflicts, and implement process improvements. While the role is primarily supervisory, there may be instances requiring involvement in physical tasks, including assisting with Lifting and ensuring proper use of PPE by all staff. Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of orders.
- Implement and enforce all warehouse Safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Train new hires and provide ongoing training and development for existing staff.
- Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., production, transportation) to ensure smooth Logistics operations.
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback.
- Resolve operational issues and conflicts effectively.
- Operate and oversee the use of warehouse equipment, including assisting with Lifting when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and Logistics .
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace Safety protocols, including PPE requirements.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks, including occasional heavy Lifting .
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
