Job Summary:
We are seeking a diligent Fulfillment Associate to join our team at a key distribution center in Des Moines, Iowa. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of customer orders from start to finish. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will be involved in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, contributing to the overall success of our logistics operations. A strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to workplace safety are essential. You will be a valued member of our warehouse team, working collaboratively to meet daily targets.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order requirements using scanners or pick lists.
  • Inspect picked items for accuracy and quality before packing.
  • Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure safe delivery.
  • Prepare shipments by labeling packages and staging them for pickup.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in line with company standards.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, particularly those related to safety and logistics.
  • Wear all required PPE, including safety glasses and gloves, at all times.
  • Participate in inventory management activities, such as cycle counting.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding workflow and any issues encountered.

Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics role is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and order fulfillment processes.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to following all safety regulations and wearing required PPE.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
