Responsibilities include picking items from shelves, verifying quantities, and packing them securely for shipment. You must be able to work efficiently, maintain high accuracy rates, and adhere to all safety procedures, including the correct use of provided PPE. The ability to perform strenuous physical tasks, including significant lifting, is a requirement for this position. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order tickets or scanning devices.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipping.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and follow all safety protocols.
- Adhere to all PPE requirements for the role.
- Conduct quality checks on packed items to ensure they meet standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts.
- Contribute to meeting daily packing and shipping targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role.
- Demonstrated ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
