Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage daily operations at our busy distribution center in Miami, Florida. This leadership role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of logistics and warehouse management. You will be responsible for supervising warehouse staff, coordinating workflows, managing inventory, and ensuring that all activities are conducted with the highest regard for Safety. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse coordination and a commitment to operational excellence. This is a critical position within our logistics framework, ensuring efficient and timely movement of goods.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including scheduling and task delegation.
  • Oversee the receiving, warehousing, and distribution of goods.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts to ensure accuracy.
  • Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
  • Train new warehouse associates on operational procedures and Safety protocols.
  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed, including forklifts.
  • Liaise with transportation and logistics partners to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to minimize disruptions.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a Warehouse Coordinator or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and logistics operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform occasional heavy Lifting, up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and control techniques.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace Safety and implementing Safety programs.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed operational decisions.
  • Must be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in using standard office software and warehouse technology.
