About
We are hiring Picker/Packers for our facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items based on customer orders and meticulously packing them for shipment. Your efficiency and attention to detail directly impact our customer satisfaction and the smooth operation of our Logistics department. This is a hands-on position requiring physical activity and a commitment to Safety .
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists, using RF scanners.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Select appropriate shipping materials (boxes, padding, tape).
- Label packages accurately for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized packing station and work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE .
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Capability of Lifting up to 40 lbs consistently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Logistics is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Must be able to wear required PPE , including safety shoes and gloves.
