We are hiring a Fulfillment Associate for our busy distribution center in Columbus, Ohio. This dynamic role involves a range of warehouse activities focused on ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer orders. You will be responsible for picking products, packing them securely, and preparing them for shipment, utilizing various tools and technology within our logistics operations. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, energetic, and committed to providing excellent service. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Package items securely and efficiently to prevent damage during transit.
- Label packages correctly for shipping.
- Stage completed orders for outgoing shipments.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse environment.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Meet or exceed productivity and quality standards.
- Support other warehouse operations and logistics functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, order fulfillment, or similar role is preferred.
- Experience using RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Ability to read and interpret order information accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Capability for moderate lifting.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and order fulfillment processes.
- A proactive approach to safety and a willingness to follow all guidelines.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
