In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement and management of materials throughout our warehouse. Your duties will encompass receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing inventory, ensuring a steady flow of goods to support production and shipping operations. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety, and all employees are required to consistently use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to all safety regulations. If you are physically fit, possess excellent organizational skills, and are comfortable operating warehouse equipment, this is an excellent opportunity. Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks is essential, and ongoing training is provided. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials.
- Organize inventory to ensure accessibility and accuracy.
- Pick and stage materials for internal departments or external shipments.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Strictly follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
- Assist with shipping and receiving documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 60 lbs.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse safety protocols.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
