About
We are hiring a detail-oriented Picker/Packer for our St. Louis, Missouri warehouse. In this critical logistics role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Your meticulous attention to detail will ensure that customer orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently. Duties include reading order tickets, locating products in the warehouse, carefully packing items into appropriate boxes, and applying shipping labels. A strong emphasis is placed on workplace safety; adherence to all safety guidelines and the consistent use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required. This role involves physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items according to order sheets or scanning devices.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and warehouse area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Collaborate with colleagues to meet order fulfillment targets.
- Handle merchandise with care to prevent damage.
Qualifications:
- Previous picking and packing experience is desirable.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Commitment to safety and following instructions.
