You will be part of an energetic dynamic team selling and providing solutions for the venue and our event management and catering company AlchemyLive.
Overview The main purpose of your role will be to liaise with clients directly to maximise revenue and profits as well as, whilst supporting the overall business objectives for 8 Northumberland Avenue. You will need to support the venue’s objectives by handling enquiries, developing client relationships, tailoring proposals, and converting new and repeat business. This role blends sales and account management with a strong focus on communication, follow up, and proactive outreach. Success will be measured through revenue growth, conversion performance, client retention, and the effectiveness of outreach activity.
This position is ideal for someone with around one year of experience working in a venue or events industry, who is eager to deepen their sales and account management capabilities within a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
Selling the venue spaces and upselling Alchemylive event services
Managing your accounts to increase our repeat business
Delivering five star customer service to our clients
Representing 8 Northumberland Avenue as a brand ambassador
Showcasing the venue and providing bespoke solutions for clients
Take part in brainstorming ideas to improve the sales experience
Accommodate clients requests while upholding our brand values
Qualifications / Requirements
Approximately one year in an events, sales, or account-focused role
Have some track record working with events
Experience selling
Follow up with clients through own initiative
Excellent communication skills both spoken and written
Strong work ethic and administration skills
Comfortable with CRM tools and structured data management
Ability to manage multiple deadlines and client enquiries simultaneously
Creative mindset with an interest in shaping compelling offers and outreach
Proactive and confident in building relationships and generating opportunities
