Location: UCHealth Parkview Medical Center - Pueblo Department: Surgical Technologist POU/Scope Reprocessing experience to include advanced procedures - ERCP/EUS, instrumentation experience. FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Flex Pay: $44.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles 13 week assignments available - extension options Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduated from a Surgical Technologist program.
  • State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration
  • 1-year experience
  • BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.

  • Prepares surgical operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment and supplies.
  • Ensures good working order of equipment and instruments. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients.
  • Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
  • Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory.
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action
