As a member of our team, you'll provide support in preparation, counter service, sanitation, and stocking of products. You'll ensure a positive image by offering courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and colleagues at all times. All positions must adhere to store Standard Operating Procedures and be prepared to perform duties inherent in other job descriptions.

We're looking for a passionate individual who can deliver information clearly and respectfully to customers, vendors, and colleagues. Your ability to sell proactively, learn product knowledge, and work effectively as part of a team will make you an asset to our team.

Responsibilities
  • Cut, prepare, and serve a variety of hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salads, and pizza.
  • Sample products to customers.
  • Stock hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from the kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators.
  • Check in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotate when necessary.
  • Bail and consolidate recyclables.
  • Assist Team Leaders in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
  • Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
  • Assist with periodic inventory checks.
  • Arrive on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work; work all scheduled shifts and attend required trainings and meetings.
  • Provide excellent customer service, address needs promptly, and model suggestive selling techniques; answer phones and pages politely.
  • Maximize sales potential through proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
  • Follow established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and safety, and safe work practices.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment; maintain equipment according to standards.
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensure accuracy of signs and pricing.
  • Report safety hazards and violations immediately.
