Job Overview
  • We're seeking a skilled team member to support our Prepared Foods department in preparation, counter service, sanitation, and product stocking.
Responsibilities
  • Cut, prepare, and serve a variety of hot and cold foods, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salads, and pizza.
  • Sample products for customers and ensure high-quality offerings.
  • Stock hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from the kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators.
  • Verify in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotate when necessary.
  • Bail and consolidate recyclables efficiently.
  • Assist Team Leaders in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items.
  • Complete spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required.
  • Participate in periodic inventory checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing needs promptly and effectively, and model suggestive selling techniques.
  • Maximize sales potential through effective procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
  • Follow established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment, adhering to WFM cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing.
  • Immediately report any safety hazards or violations.
