Culinary Artist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Food Preparation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our culinary department, you will be responsible for preparing food items for our cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars.

• Prepare food items according to production sheets, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish.
• Monitor food levels and replenish in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
• Ensure all prepared items are labeled, dated, covered, monitored for quality and freshness, and rotated to maximize sales potential.
• Provide excellent customer service, addressing needs in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques.
• Follow established procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product to ensure maximum sales and profit.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary working environment, adhering to WFM cleanliness and safety standards.

• Thorough knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes and produce consistent results.
• Good basic math skills and ability to manage inventory effectively.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
