About
Responsibilities
Communicating with customers, suppliers and the team about orders
Creating accurate quotes in good time for our customers
Sharing the latest products based on customers' needs and budgets
Managing the sales inbox, processing customer quotes and orders accurately
Setting up customer accounts for restaurants and hotels
Resolving customer issues, with a supportive team
About You The ideal candidate should have a passion for giving great customer service and the ability to carry out high quality administration with an attention to detail. You will also be a natural at problem solver and comfortable using your initiative to ensure the best outcome for the customer.
You will need excellent organisation and planning skills and enjoy a deadline-driven environment. You will need understanding of the sales process ideally in a B2B context and a good level of general IS Systems such as MS Excel, Word and Outlook.
We are committed to internal development and appropriate external training. The successful candidate receives training on the types of customers we deal with, our products, systems and website.

Salary Range
£25,000 – £29,000 – depending on experience
The Company Direct Tableware are a leading supplier of catering equipment for the hospitality industry. We offer a range of products including crockery, glassware, cutlery, buffetware, kitchenware and table accessories.
We work with restaurateurs, hoteliers and food service establishments searching for inspiration and offer an extensive range of products from the best brands and excellent product knowledge and customer service. Our primary function is to ensure our customers receive the products they want when they want them.
We are based in the heart of Royston, 3 minutes walking from the train station and 5 minutes walking from the main high street. Alternatively we offer on-site parking and are within easy access to Stevenage and Cambridgeshire.
