About
Responsibilities
Act as the Strike Net Capability Lead directing Combat Systems Engineers on programme development.
Lead the delivery of a Strike Net Technical Delivery Plan across multiple workstreams.
Engage with customers, stakeholders and suppliers to align capability and programme requirements.
Review test plans, lead trials and oversee post‑trial analysis.
Produce technical documentation and support artefacts for customer submissions.
Support and direct sea trials on Royal Navy ships, including potential overseas deployments.
Qualifications
Strong leadership skills and proven management experience.
Proven experience on maritime combat systems.
Thorough knowledge of Test & Evaluation and Integration.
10 years relevant experience in engineering or systems engineering.
Ability to analyse problems logically and resolve issues.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical issues clearly.
Honours degree in Engineering Physics or similar.
Chartered Engineer (CEng) or willingness to work towards.
HNC / D level qualification (or equivalent) may be accepted with relevant experience.

Requirements Eligible for SC clearance, hybrid working pattern, full‑time position at Portsmouth Technology Park (PTP). Minimum 10 years engineering experience and a strong track record in maritime combat systems.
