About
The Role You will be responsible for shaping solution designs across Advice Systems, including Salesforce while working closely with business and technology stakeholders. A major focus of the role will be supporting AI‑led automation initiatives, particularly around document processing and data extraction, to streamline complex manual processes. You will also contribute to wider process improvement initiatives across asset management and finance, helping ensure consistent asset valuations, robust controls, and aligned reporting across internal teams and third‑party partners.
Key Responsibilities
Design end‑to‑end solution architectures for Advice Systems, including Salesforce and Dynamics Planner
Lead the integration of third‑party systems and devices
Support and shape AI automation proposals, including AI agents that can read documents, extract key information, and perform tasks currently completed manually
Work with stakeholders to improve process automation, controls, and efficiency, reducing duplication and operational risk
Collaborate with data architecture teams to ensure solutions align with the existing data landscape
Provide architectural input across asset valuation processes to ensure consistent views and reporting across finance, asset management, and external third parties
Translate business requirements into high‑level and detailed solution designs
Skills & Experience
Proven experience as a Solution Architect in complex enterprise environments ideally with life and pensions but open to wider FS experience
Strong communication skills, able to work with a range of stakeholders, from senior business, third‑party vendors, to non‑technical business users
Strong knowledge of Salesforce would be very beneficial
Experience integrating third‑party platforms and services
Background in Financial Services, ideally Life & Pensions
Good understanding of data architecture concepts (hands‑on data engineering not required)
Experience delivering process improvement and automation initiatives
Exposure to AI technologies and AI agents is highly desirable
