CBRE Global Workplace Solutions provides integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are seeking a Mobile HVAC Multi Skilled Engineer to cover sites in Manchester, Leeds, Wakefield, and Newcastle. Role Summary
Identify and manage risks related to equipment on site, including critical spares, performance improvements, and environment control via BMS. Maintain a comfortable environment using new equipment and technologies, liaising with clients on reactive and PPM tasks. Fault find on HVAC plant and equipment, especially VRV air conditioning systems, with F-Gas handling qualifications. Support Health and Safety initiatives within the team. Act as Energy Champion and Safety Champion for the site. Provide Electrical and Mechanical expertise to the maintenance team. Write and review Risk Assessments and ensure compliance with legislation. Complete documentation accurately using mobile devices and CAFM systems. Plan daily tasks using email and calendar tools. Liaise with onsite Supervisor and Account Manager regarding building services issues. Deputise for the site supervisor during leave or sickness when required. Work overtime, including nights and weekends, as needed. Perform ad hoc duties as required. Supervise and manage subcontractors. Participate in an on-call rota for emergencies outside normal hours. Experience Required
Recognised or Time Served Apprenticeship Proven HVAC maintenance experience Mechanical qualifications to City and Guilds standards Multiskilled abilities Fault finding skills Contractor supervision capabilities Risk assessments and method statement writing Understanding of permits and safe systems of work F-Gas refrigerant handling certification Desirable Skills
Working at Height qualification IPAF / PASMA certifications AP qualifications BMS system experience HVAC controls knowledge
