About
Key Responsibilities: Firmware Development &Optimization: Review, modify, and optimize firmware for standard and custom-designed motorcontrol applications. Where necessary, write new modules to pre-agreedspecifications to operate within pre-defined architectures. Implement bestpractices for firmware development, with a strong focus on reliability andperformance. Projects may be directly related to R&D but could also includecustom projects for specific customers.
Foster a productive relationship with the other team members, collaboratingwhere necessary and working in a way that enables others to understand the workdone. Collaborate and support test engineers to complete product verification.
Compliance & StandardsAdherence: Collaborate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders toensure full compliance with industry standards such as MISRA. Please note,these standards are project dependent. Monitor and update processes to remaincompliant with evolving regulations and standards.
Facilitate training sessions for the team on compliance-related matters,ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned.
Testing & Validation: Direct testing and validation processes, ensuring products consistently meetthe highest quality, performance, and compliance standards.
Remain updated with the latest trends and methodologies in motor controlsystems.
Proactively identify and implement improvements for more streamlined andinnovative solutions.
Diverse Project Engagement: Actively participate in a broad spectrum of projects, from innovative R&Dventures to international cooperation projects, ensuring Zikodrive's continuedreputation for excellence.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in ElectronicEngineering, Mechatronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relatedfield. Master's degree preferred.
Extensive experience in embedded Cprogramming.
Proficiency with Microchip dspicmicrocontrollers and/or STM32 a significant advantage.
Solid grounding in brushless DC,sensorless brushless DC, and stepper motor control systems would be amajor advantage.
Proven track record in ensuringcompliance with industry standards.
Leadership or managerial experience,especially within a technical team setting would be an advantage.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving,and communication skills.
Able to work individually to completeprojects to pre-defined standards but also capable of supportingcolleagues with debugging / troubleshooting as required.
