About
Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Charge Capture and Data Analyst for our Surgical Services Department who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Charge Capture and Data Analyst you will: Process manual charges to patient files. Audit bill on a daily basis and communicate discrepancies to specialty coordinators. Prepare regular reports on OR statistics for key stakeholders. Assist with maximizing the department's revenue through charge capture auditing and reconciliation. Assist with performance improvement efforts within the department, and seeks new and better ways of doing things. Develop new ad hoc reports to address specific business needs. Help facilitate review of contracts and quotes from both a financial and legal perspective. Assist with maximizing the department's revenue through charge capture auditing and reconciliation. Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in business management, Computer Science or Health Care area required. 3 years' experience with data analysis, preferably in a healthcare environment. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with competing priorities. Must be able to analyze data and communicate findings to the relevant audience. Must have excellent customer service skills as we deal with various stakeholders within the hospital environment. Experience working with Cerner, and specifically data extraction and verification through SurgiNet is desirable. Must be proficient in working with databases and MS Office software. Experience using Tableau data visualization software is desirable. Must be self-motivated and able to perform with little supervision. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm. (flexibility in schedule to support special reports) Pay Range: $47,090.87 - $63,710.40 If the salary range is listed as $0 or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
