We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Shipping Clerk to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role is critical for ensuring the timely and accurate dispatch of all outgoing shipments, playing a key part in our overall Logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing shipping documents, verifying order accuracy, coordinating with freight carriers, and maintaining comprehensive shipping records. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential. While this role is primarily administrative, some physical duties may be required, including occasional Lifting of packages. Maintaining a safe work environment is paramount, and all employees are expected to follow strict Safety protocols and utilize appropriate PPE at all times. Responsibilities:
- Process and prepare all outgoing shipment documentation.
- Verify order details for accuracy before shipping.
- Schedule pickups and coordinate with various shipping carriers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipping logs and records.
- Communicate shipment status to internal departments and external customers.
- Ensure compliance with all company Safety policies and use of PPE .
- Assist with inventory verification as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve shipping-related issues promptly.
- Contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our Logistics network.
- Handle occasional tasks involving light to moderate Lifting .
