Prior warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, and a strong work ethic is essential. Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and stock incoming inventory.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders.
- Pack orders securely for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free from hazards.
- Operate material handling equipment safely (e.g., pallet jacks).
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations.
- Properly use all required PPE.
- Report any safety concerns or equipment issues to management.
- Perform tasks that include significant lifting and physical exertion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including significant lifting and standing.
- Capability to lift up to 60 lbs.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills are a plus.
