Job Summary:
Join our growing logistics team in Columbus, Ohio, as a Material Handler! We are searching for dedicated individuals to support the efficient movement and organization of materials within our state-of-the-art distribution facility. Your role will be crucial in maintaining the smooth flow of goods, from receiving to dispatch. This position demands physical capability, keen attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. You will be working with a variety of materials and equipment, making safety a top priority in all tasks. Responsibilities:
  • Safely unload and load materials from trucks.
  • Transport materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
  • Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Assist with picking, packing, and kitting of orders as needed.
  • Perform regular equipment checks to ensure operational safety and report any issues.
  • Participate in inventory management, including cycle counts and stock verification.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.
  • Adhere strictly to all company and OSHA Safety guidelines.
  • Utilize appropriate PPE, such as safety vests, gloves, and hard hats when required.
  • Support the overall logistics operations and team objectives.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling machinery.
  • Must be capable of frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Solid understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to workplace Safety and the proper use of PPE.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
