Job Summary:
Join our thriving logistics hub as a Material Handler in Austin, Texas! We are looking for motivated individuals to support our warehouse operations. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the movement of materials, ensuring the efficient flow of goods throughout the facility. This role is critical for maintaining our operational efficiency and supporting our supply chain. You will be involved in loading and unloading, stocking, and retrieving materials. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable of handling the demands of the job, and committed to safety. Daily tasks will include significant Lifting and operating material handling equipment. Ensuring the correct use of PPE is paramount. Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
  • Move materials using hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Stock and retrieve materials in designated warehouse locations.
  • Assist in order picking and preparation for shipment.
  • Conduct physical inventory counts and assist in reconciliation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Report any damages or safety hazards immediately.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure proper use of PPE.
  • Support the overall logistics functions of the warehouse.
  • Perform duties that involve substantial Lifting.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or material handling role is beneficial.
  • Ability to perform frequent physical tasks, including significant Lifting.
  • Familiarity with warehouse equipment and tools.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic understanding of inventory principles.
  • Commitment to safety and use of PPE.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Understanding of logistics operations is a plus.
