About
Our San Francisco logistics facility is seeking motivated Order Pickers to join our team! In this role, you will be instrumental in accurately and efficiently gathering items from our warehouse shelves to fulfill customer orders. You will read pick tickets, locate specific products, and prepare them for the packing and shipping process. Accuracy and speed are key in this fast-paced environment. You will collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure that orders are processed correctly and on time. We prioritize a safe workplace, and all team members are required to follow safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate PPE. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the logistics industry and contribute to our operational success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately selecting products from warehouse locations based on order specifications.
- Verifying picked items against pick lists to ensure accuracy.
- Operating electric pallet jacks and other picking equipment safely.
- Preparing picked items for quality control, packing, and shipping.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Meeting established productivity targets and quality standards.
- Reporting any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
- Assisting with other warehouse tasks as needed.
- Performing tasks that involve regular lifting and movement of products.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and order instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced logistics setting.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift.
- Capability for lifting and carrying items up to 40 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be willing and able to wear required PPE.
