Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records using the WMS.
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits regularly.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and reduce shrinkage.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure timely stock replenishment.
- Ensure proper storage, organization, and labeling of all inventory items.
- Champion safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and safe Lifting practices.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, accuracy, and movement.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform tasks involving moderate Lifting (up to 40 lbs).
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.
