We are hiring a proficient Reach Truck Operator for our Sacramento, California facility. This role is essential for managing the flow of goods within our expansive warehouse. As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be entrusted with the safe and efficient operation of specialized equipment to move, organize, and retrieve a wide variety of products. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading materials from trucks, transporting goods to and from storage areas, and ensuring that inventory is stored correctly and safely. Responsibilities:
- Operate a reach truck to move and store inventory accurately.
- Load and unload freight from delivery vehicles.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on the reach truck.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through system updates.
- Ensure warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Handle occasional heavy lifting and other manual tasks as required.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties when necessary.
Requirements:
- Certified and experienced Reach Truck Operator.
- Demonstrated ability to operate reach trucks safely and efficiently.
- Willingness to perform tasks involving Lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety standards and logistics best practices.
- Familiarity with inventory control procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours if needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
