About
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Forklift Operator to join our state-of-the-art facility in Dallas, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading trucks, relocating inventory, and supporting various warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong safety record, and a thorough understanding of warehouse safety procedures. Your role is critical to maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring operational efficiency within our logistics network.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, electric) safely and efficiently to move materials.
- Load and unload trucks, trailers, and containers with incoming and outgoing goods.
- Transport inventory to and from storage locations, production lines, and shipping areas.
- Stack and arrange materials securely and in designated areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Utilize appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed, such as cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring clear pathways.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth operational flow.
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in a dynamic environment, and demonstrate excellent attention to detail. Prior experience as a certified forklift operator is mandatory.
