We are looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in San Francisco, California. This position is critical for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. You will be responsible for managing stock levels, conducting regular cycle counts, investigating inventory discrepancies, and implementing measures to prevent stock loss. Your expertise will help ensure that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, supporting our logistics and fulfillment processes. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a keen attention to detail, and a deep understanding of inventory management principles.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels across all warehouse locations.
- Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Implement and enforce inventory control policies and procedures.
- Process incoming and outgoing inventory movements accurately in the WMS.
- Identify and report slow-moving or obsolete stock.
- Coordinate with shipping, receiving, and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all inventory items.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to facilitate inventory management.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
This role demands precision, strong organizational skills, and the ability to analyze data effectively. Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software is essential.
