Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
- Track and report on key inventory metrics, such as accuracy rates and turns.
- Collaborate with the receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate inbound and outbound movements.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within inventory management and logistics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to perform detailed audits and data analysis.
- Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be comfortable with manual lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
