Our Dallas, Texas facility is looking for a meticulous Inventory Control Specialist to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure the efficient flow of goods. Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to verify stock accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records in the warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend adjustments to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Track and report on key inventory metrics, such as accuracy rates and turns.
  • Collaborate with the receiving and shipping departments to ensure accurate inbound and outbound movements.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within inventory management and logistics.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in inventory control or a related warehouse role.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform detailed audits and data analysis.
  • Understanding of warehouse logistics and inventory management principles.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be comfortable with manual lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety protocols.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
