MEDITE SMARTPLY supplies construction, furnishing and industrial processing markets across the UK, Ireland and internationally. The business is financially secure, highly invested, and pursuing a clear long‑term strategy focused on relevance, sustainability and profitable growth.
This is a newly created role, reflecting the importance of a small number of strategically critical industrial / OEM customers within the MEDITE business unit.
Key Responsibilities
Own and develop strategic relationships with MEDITE SMARTPLY’s most important industrial OEM customers
Act as the single commercial owner for those accounts across territories
Lead account planning, pricing logic, forecasting and margin discipline
Align regional sales teams, supply chain, planning, marketing and technical functions
Provide high‑quality market and customer insight to inform commercial and strategic decisions
This is a senior individual‑contributor role, operating through influence, credibility and judgement rather than large teams.
Candidate Profile Wilson Brook is seeking a commercially astute, relationship‑led key account professional, ideally stepping up into a richer and more strategic customer portfolio.
Strong experience managing OEM or manufacturing customers
A background in industrial manufacturing, building products, automotive, aerospace, electrical or similar sectors
Proven capability in pricing, margin management, forecasting and negotiation
The presence and judgement to operate with demanding, sophisticated customers
Deep product knowledge is not essential. Commercial acumen and customer credibility are.
Location
UK‑based; candidates ideally living within reasonable commuting distance to the Dartford office preferred (some flexibility)
Regular UK & Ireland travel, with some European exposure
