What you’ll be doing Harnessing your technology experience, you’ll take on a leading role helping the team design, build and support secure and robust systems. You will work with a combination of newer & legacy technologies to deliver real change. You’ll be responsible for defining and refining the work that your team completes. You’ll ensure our technology solutions are compliant with best practice, guardrails and non-functional requirements that Nationwide defines, to ensure that systems are performant, resilient and secure. You will also be working closely with stakeholders to ensure that solutions are defined to meet both business and technical needs. About you We are looking for experience in
technical design
and expertise including: Oracle platforms and applications, and creation of database objects, packages and scripts using PL-SQL. Appropriate technology design approaches, such as UML and Entity Relationship Modelling. Ensuring appropriate controls and governance are followed when designing, building and maintaining our software platforms, to ensure the solutions are resilient, performant and secure. Producing technical designs, software development and packaging of software. Curating clear and high-quality written documentation, ensuring a high level of attention to detail. Ability to work across multiple simultaneous deliveries, whilst effectively managing stakeholder expectations.
