Storyteller: You can find and tell a story when looking at numbers and graphs.
Experienced: Minimum 2-3 years working experience; 0-1 years in programmatic advertising preferred.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
Become an expert in Index’s data. Build and maintain efficient data solutions for the commercial business, utilising our primary BI tools, Looker and Re‑dash. Expert in aggregating and studying data for specialised analytics projects and strategic initiatives.
Drive incremental growth for Index’s customers by uncovering and delivering proactive analysis and meaningful insights to our account management teams for Index’s clients, across publishers, DSPs and buyers.
Provide client‑facing analytics for a selection of key premium publisher accounts in EMEA, partnering with the account team, attending meetings and quarterly reviews, and identifying revenue growth opportunities via data analysis.
Design and build dashboards to quantify and monitor releases and initiatives.
Collaborate with internal teams by delivering a range of analysis, insights, and reporting for commercial teams, via a queue‑based system and cross‑functional working groups.
Drive initiatives to increase revenue and/or improve operations, utilising Index’s internal software and reporting systems such as Looker, Re‑dash, Confluence and Salesforce.
Have a leading role in strategic programmes to drive incremental revenue and improve efficiency for the business.
Provide comprehensive summaries on analysis, releases, and outcomes to key stakeholders.
Be inquisitive and explore opportunities for automation of recurring and time‑consuming tasks, using creativity and programming language skills.
Collaborate with and learn from analytics team members across the globe.
Here’s what you need:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Finance or a similar quantitative discipline combined with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience performing the responsibilities outlined above, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Ability to build consensus and relationships among partners and team members.
Strong ability to organise effectively, solve problems, make confident conclusions quickly, thoughtfully, and communicate clearly.
Strong analytical mind and a keen interest in conducting research, interpreting data and translating to insights for various audiences.
Ability to be curious with data and translate it into meaningful insights.
Experience or an interest in working within the ad technology industry.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of SQL for querying databases.
Experience with BI tools such as Redash and Looker considered an asset.
Knowledge of digital advertising industry, participants, technologies, and advertising ecosystems considered an asset.
