We’re looking for an experienced Data analyst to define, extract and evangelise the value from our products that’s transforming how people control and share their data online.
About us Since its launch in 2018, Gener8 has been at the forefront of the “open data” movement: the belief that people should be able to control and be rewarded from their own data. Gener8’s consumer products include IOS and Android apps, a web browser and a browser extension. Our products enable people to transparently share their data with Gener8, whilst preserving their privacy, and to earn rewards in return for doing this.
Today we’re operating in the UK & USA and will be launching in multiple new countries in early 2026.
On the B2B side, the data products that Gener8 creates enables businesses to make faster, smarter decisions. Our customers include some of the world’s largest Big Tech companies, leading ai companies and prominent organisations in finance and ad tech.
About the role Our users entrust us with their data and in return we reward them for sharing it, your role will be key to realising the value of the data we hold. We’re looking for someone with a mind that’s equally commercial as it is analytical.
You’ll be analysing datasets with hundreds of millions of data points we hold about our user’s behaviour and preferences. The quality and quantity of data we hold is almost unrivalled and holds significant value if aggregated, collated and packaged appropriately.
Working in the existing product and engineering team, as well aswith the sales and research teams, you’ll be turning our large and varied data into actionable insights for commercial clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Understanding our user’s behaviour at scale, to inform business decisions, using analysis and visualisations
Helping the sales team respond to client queries about our datasets
Assisting the product team with detailed analysis of our datasets to understand the behaviour of our users
Championing data quality across the company
Aligning key stakeholders around common metrics, data definitions and dashboards
This is the right opportunity for you if you have:
3+ years commercial experience analysing large datasets
Previous experience working at a company focussed on at least one of: data products, audience measurement or market research.
Ability to visualise and explain complex data trends for diverse audiences
A strong working understanding of the approaches to managing and controlling data quality
Experience working with large or complex datasets using SQL
A commitment to continuous learning and skill development in emerging data technologies
A data driven approach to everything you do
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
