About
Experience in direct business-to-business sales roles, preferably serving clients across (Re)insurance and/or Insurance Linked Securities (ILS). Deep understanding of the (Re)insurance industry with knowledge of the ILS market (preferred) and interest in capital markets, data, and software. Solid grasp of global financial services industry dynamics and customer business drivers. Ability to present both high-level information and detailed product/service demonstrations. Proven consultative selling skills and ability to lead complex sales cycles to successful conclusion. Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts, with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency. Interest in exploring AI systems and a willingness to develop awareness of responsible AI practices, including risk management and ethical use. Education
Undergraduate/first-level degree (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) in economics, finance, or a related area preferred. Responsibilities
Build and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed annual goals aligned with company vision and objectives. Work with sales colleagues and internal stakeholders to drive the sales process from prospecting to closure. Lead business development within assigned territories for Insurance companies; partner with Solution Specialists for proposals and client demos. Act as point of contact for risk, finance, actuarial, and investment functions at clients. Market and help develop solutions for the Insurance sector. Expand Moody’s footprint in the wider Insurance industry, including consultants, regulators, and industry bodies. Collaborate with Product Management and Product Strategy to improve product quality and develop new revenue sources. This position offers a dynamic work environment, requiring up to 50% travel to engage with clients face-to-face, while also providing the flexibility of hybrid working.
