Salary: £46,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
The Role We are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a well-established facilities management team covering a portfolio of commercial sites across London. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer seeking a stable Monday-Friday role, strong benefits, and clear progression routes to Supervisor level.
You will be responsible for carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring electrical systems and associated plant operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with statutory regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works
Electrical fault finding across commercial buildings
Maintenance and operation of AHUs and FCUs
General and Simtronic lighting systems
Emergency lighting testing
Fire alarm testing
Sprinkler testing
Ensure all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations
Accurate completion of maintenance reports and compliance documentation
Liaison with site teams, clients, and subcontractors
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience as a Mobile or Commercial Electrical Engineer
Strong electrical fault-finding ability
Experience with AHU & FCU systems
Knowledge of lighting systems, including Simtronic (or similar)
Experience carrying out emergency lighting, fire alarm, and sprinkler testing
Recognised Electrical Qualification (NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds or equivalent)
18th Edition (preferred)
Full UK driving licence
