Apprenticeship Programme The apprenticeship is a full‑time role, with four days per week spent working in a C4 department and one day per week completing the formal learning components. Training will include workshops, tutorials, webinars, coaching and, in some cases, residential boot camps. The apprenticeship offers the Business Administrator Level 3 qualification and lasts 15 months.
Eligibility
You must be 18 years old or over at the time the scheme starts.
You’ll need to have a Grade C (4) or above in Maths & English GCSE.
You cannot have already completed the qualification being offered or a similar one at the same or higher level.
The programme is aimed at school leavers and people who do not have a degree.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Programme Coordinator with arranging meetings, preparing rooms and greeting guests.
Keep meeting minutes from development and commissioning routines.
Occasional diary management for Digital Commissioning Editors and Head of Department.
Track Post Campaign Analysis (PCA) documents and workflow.
Update internal systems such as Monday.com.
Store treatments in the internal systems.
Support the department with the production process as and when required.
Assist with the production management process and commissioner viewing schedules.
Liaise with other departments at Channel 4, including Compliance, Legal, Business Affairs and 4Studio where required.
Essential Experience & Skills
Verbal and written communication skills.
Attention to detail.
Organisation skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
Understanding of and passion for Channel 4's remit and output.
Confirmation of Maths & English GCSE Grade C (4) or above.
Initiative to complete tasks and work independently.
Computer literacy and comfort with new technology and systems.
Ability to suggest and develop new ideas for admin processes.
Passion about social media.
Qualification Offered Business Administrator Level 3.
Length of Apprenticeship 15 months.
Relocation Support If you need to relocate, support will be offered toward the financial costs of moving, including a contribution toward your deposit and first months’ rent, plus visits to your new city to look for accommodation.
Salary Basic salary per annum starting from £26,742.00.

Hybrid Working From September 2023, Channel 4 operates a 60/40 working pattern: three office days per week, with the flexibility to decide where the remaining days are spent.
