We’re looking for a
Sales Manager
to lead, develop, and support our high‑performing Sales Negotiator team based in our Manchester office. This role suits someone experienced in managing a phone‑based or property sales team who cares about performance, coaching, and doing things the right way.
As a Sales Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, ensure strong sales delivery, and guide your team with a blend of accountability and empathy. You’ll run morning meetings, performance reviews, monthly 1‑2‑1s, ensure accurate CRM activity, manage rotas and absences, and uphold behavioural standards across the team. You’ll also review commission submissions, support new starters, and take ownership of performance improvement plans where needed.
You’ll play a key part in the seller experience by monitoring introduction calls, buyer feedback, response times, customer service calls, portfolio quality, and price or offer discussions — ensuring all activity meets our SOP standards. You’ll analyse withdrawals, spot trends early, and work with other teams to reduce loss and improve outcomes for homeowners.
Coaching and development are central to this role. You’ll run weekly workshops, listen to calls regularly, provide structured feedback, and ensure every Negotiator receives clear guidance on expectations and growth. Working closely with training, QA, Progression, PAM, and senior managers, you’ll help create a joined‑up experience for sellers and a supportive, high‑standard environment for the team.
You’ll thrive here if you’re a confident communicator, commercially sharp, structured in your approach, and naturally comfortable balancing people and performance. Experience managing a sales team is essential; property experience is helpful but not required.
What’s in it for you A leadership role where your contribution genuinely matters — backed by a brand with national trust and a reputation built on fairness, transparency, and speed.
Competitive salary + performance‑linked bonuses Rewarded for team success, not unrealistic pressure.
Genuine career progression Clear pathways into senior management for consistent, high‑performing leaders.
Ongoing training & development Leadership training, coaching frameworks, role‑specific workshops, and continuous feedback support.
Supportive, transparent culture We value honesty, communication, structure, and doing right by sellers — not pressure‑based selling.
A trusted brand behind you 19,000+ sellers helped 11,700+ verified reviews 31 customer‑service awards 250+ genuine seller videos
