Octopus by RTG is hiring a Salesforce Developer for one of our partners. Job Overview We are seeking a Salesforce Developer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining customized solutions within the Salesforce platform. This role will be supporting release cycles, performing testing and debugging, contributing to technical documentation, and handling administrative tasks to enhance the Salesforce environment while ensuring adherence to best practices and data quality standards. Role Responsibilities Develop applications using Visualforce pages, Lightning pages, and Lightning Web Components. Design and implement Apex classes, triggers, Visualforce, and Lightning Components to support business requirements. Integrate Salesforce with other systems using Salesforce APIs. Develop and maintain SOAP and REST-based integrations in a complex enterprise environment, including real-time, batch, synchronous, and asynchronous integrations. Utilize Salesforce data tools such as Data Loader, Excel Connector, scripted data loaders, web services, cloud or on-premise middleware, and other enterprise integration technologies. Support each release cycle by implementing and deploying new or updated applications and code. Perform unit and system testing, and debug applications. Adhere to coding best practices and ensure data quality. Contribute to technical documentation. Perform administrative tasks to support org enhancements. Develop solutions with best practices in mind. Interpret technical specifications. Test application stability and functionality. Troubleshoot and fix bugs. Handle integration tasks.
