About

Overview
We’re looking for a talented Analytics Manager to join our Collections Analytics team at Zopa. In this high-impact role, you’ll lead the collections oversight function, owning the day-to-day programme management of initiatives, ensuring projects are well-scoped, prioritised, and delivered effectively. You’ll play a central role in how data shapes strategy and performance: designing analyses, building scalable reporting, uncovering trends, and developing actionable recommendations that improve processes and deliver better outcomes for our customers. You’ll drive how data is used to inform decision-making in Collections, while managing a team of analysts and collaborating closely with colleagues across Operations, Credit Strategy, Risk, and Data Engineering. Along the way, you’ll play a key role in helping Zopa modernise, automate, and elevate its data capabilities. Day To Day Responsibilities
Own programme delivery - scope, prioritise, and oversee the day-to-day management of analytics initiatives within Collections, ensuring projects are delivered effectively and on time. Lead and develop the team - manage a small group of collections analysts, providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure high-quality delivery and professional growth. Monitor and respond to outcomes - track changes in collections, customer, and credit performance, proactively identifying risks or opportunities and driving the right actions. Drive strategy through insight - turn data into strategies that optimise portfolio performance, shape policy, and deliver fair, effective outcomes for customers, while exploring how AI and advanced analytical techniques can unlock new opportunities. Champion reporting and visibility - ensure robust dashboards and reporting tools are in place to monitor key KPIs, highlight trends, and inform senior decision-making. Partner across the business - collaborate with Operations, Product, Risk, and Compliance to align strategies that balance customer outcomes with commercial performance. Drive continuous improvement - take ownership of reviewing and enhancing collections processes and analytics workflows, modernising how we operate while encouraging automation, scalability, and innovation to deliver more efficient and effective outcomes. About You
Leadership & people development - you’re keen to grow as a people manager, supporting and developing analysts in a fast-paced environment. Customer and operations focus - you’re passionate about delivering better outcomes for customers in financial difficulty and thrive in the dynamic, fast-moving world of Operations. Credit strategy and financial services - you’re interested in learning about credit risk, collections, and consumer lending, with prior experience a strong advantage. Collaboration and communication - you build strong relationships, understand business needs, and communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Technical toolkit - you bring strong SQL skills (Python a bonus) and experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Problem-solving with impact - you’re curious and analytical, able to translate business problems into solutions that deliver measurable outcomes. Prioritisation and delivery - you balance multiple demands effectively, focusing on the highest-value opportunities and ensuring projects are delivered to a high standard. Work & Location
Location: London, UK. This hybrid role requires you to come to the London office 2-3 days a week. Towards the end of 2025 Zopa will relocate to a brand-new headquarters at 20 Water Street in Canary Wharf.
