Your Role & Responsibilities: Bring ideas from concept to installation with sound engineering practices. Planning, preparing, designing and implementing of spread and equipment mobilizations aboard vessels. Assists in rig mobilization and demobilization as required around the world. Advancing and developing existing geotechnical investigation spreads. Familiar with Integrated Management System (IMS), Design Engineering and Technical Support. Develop technical documentation and specifications for the equipment mobilizations aboard vessels. Ensuring equipment and its operation is in compliance with all the relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. Driver for standards and quality to ensure output is maintained to the highest standards. Follows Geoquip Marine policies and procedures and performs all duties in accordance with the Permit to Work System. Promote and be responsible for the implementation and follow up of the Company’s high level HSE rules and requirements during investment projects. Secondary Job Function: Be familiar with rules of classification societies, international organizations and proper implementation of Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) policies. Understand Project Planning and the development & execution. ‘Hands-On’ use of CAD and structural design software programs. Develop and write technical documentation. What You’ll Need to Succeed: Education:
Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Design, or Naval Architecture (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Professional Certification preferred). Experience:
Background in design engineering, ideally in marine, drilling, offshore construction, oil & gas, or renewable energy. Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in
AutoCAD, SolidWorks , or similar software. Team Player:
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Hands-On Approach:
