The Role We are supporting a well-established aviation aircraft parts trading business in West Sussex that is looking to appoint a Senior Sales Executive to strengthen its commercial team.
This is a hands‑on, revenue‑generating role suited to an experienced aviation sales professional who thrives in a fast‑paced aftermarket environment. While the role will include responding to inbound RFQs, the primary focus is on active sales, brokering, and deal‑making across aircraft parts and larger assets, including sales, exchanges and creative commercial solutions.
You will work closely with internal purchasing, logistics and management teams to identify opportunities, move stock, source assets globally and build long‑term customer relationships across airlines and MROs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and develop relationships with commercial airline and MRO customers globally
Respond to inbound RFQs for aircraft parts and components in a timely and commercial manner
Proactively broker aircraft parts and larger assets, including outright sales, exchanges, and part‑out solutions
Identify opportunities to place surplus or ageing stock and source hard‑to‑find material
Negotiate pricing, terms, exchanges and lead times to close profitable deals
Work closely with purchasing to align buying strategy with sales demand
Track opportunities through the full sales cycle, from initial enquiry to delivery
Maintain accurate CRM and sales records
Represent the business professionally in all commercial interactions, including occasional customer visits and industry events
Required Experience & Background
Minimum 2 years’ experience in aviation sales, specifically within aircraft parts trading, MRO sales or aftermarket services
Proven experience selling to commercial airlines and / or MROs
Strong understanding of aircraft parts, components, rotables and the aviation aftermarket
Experience handling RFQs, negotiating pricing and closing deals
Confident in brokering solutions, including sales, exchanges and alternative commercial structures
Experience using aviation software, Quantum preffered.
