Job Responsibilities
Deliver annual sales targets and gross margin objectives for the Scotland region.
Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to expand market share in Scottish engineering and CMM sectors.
Proactively identify and cultivate new business opportunities, with a focus on Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, ensuring a consultative approach and customer‑centric solutions.
Build strong, collaborative relationships with key accounts, partners, and third‑party organisations.
Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting using CRM tools.
Collaborate cross‑functionally to ensure customer requirements are fully met.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor activity, and Hexagon product developments.
Uphold Hexagon’s values and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications
Proven track record (5+ years) in consultative and capital equipment sales within the Scottish engineering and CMM market.
Good understanding of the Scottish industrial landscape, customer needs, and sector‑specific challenges.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
Emotionally intelligent, with the ability to engage and empathise with diverse stakeholders.
Numerate, with experience in building proposals and cost justifications.
IT literate, comfortable working within CRM environments.
Creative problem‑solver, able to tailor solutions to unique customer requirements.
Demonstrates personal integrity, trustworthiness, and a proactive, can‑do attitude.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
