Security clearance requirement: British Citizen with SC clearance.
The opportunity Join a new and upcoming team within the RF Seekers and Datalinks directorate delivering Synthetic RF Data for use in System Performance Models. The Design and Studies team combines multiple customer requirements into one design for a singular tool suitable for all, working closely with Systems Engineering, Modelling and Performance, Software Development and CAD Modelling teams.
Responsibilities
Requirements Analysis
Developing system architecture including interface definitions
Perform system trade studies
Conduct research studies into RF representationPresent the outcome of studies to team members and external teams
Generate technical requirements specifications
Identify opportunities for process improvement
There is a potential to get involved with verification and validation work.
Qualifications We expect you to be an enthusiastic, adaptable and proactive individual who enjoys finding innovative solutions to complex engineering problems. You must be able to achieve the appropriate level of security clearance.
Essential experience
Mathematics, Physics or Engineering background
Experience in Systems Engineering/Design and MBSE
Good problem‑solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Detail oriented
Desirable experience
Matlab, DOORS Next and/or Rhapsody experience
Knowledge of physics and technologies involved in RF systems
Knowledge of signal processing algorithms
