This Senior or Associate Electrical Design Engineer role is to join a busy, growing engineering consultancy, where you will be part of a close knit team of engineers. They are a conscientious team who have created a friendly supportive working environment, where you'll feel at home from day one.
They produce designs for buildings in a range of sectors including healthcare, laboratories, education, public buildings and large residential schemes.
Responsibilities
Maintain and grow existing client relationships.
Work with the clients to establish the brief and follow the project through to the technical fulfilment.
Attend project meetings with all parties.
Lead projects internally, acting as electrical project lead on projects.
Provide technical leadership and support professional development of more junior engineers.
Prepare and present designs, reports, calculations, and specifications.
Conduct technical review of projects.
Qualifications
Relevant degree, electrical or building services related.
Previous work within a building services design role, with either a consultancy or contractor.
Experience designing from concept to handover, including calculations, preparation of drawings, specifications and all relevant tender documentation.
Hold a full UK driving licence.
