Your duties As a Senior Electrical Design & Software Design Engineer at Syntegon, you will design, develop, and implement control systems for packaging machines, both internally and at customer sites. You will contribute to modern, innovative solutions while ensuring safe, efficient, and well-coordinated machinery.
Responsibilities
Design electrical control systems and develop machine PLC software using Rockwell and Beckhoff.
Conduct control system safety analyses using Sistema and ensure compliance with CE, NEC, CSA, and UL standards.
Commission packaging machinery at Syntegon and occasionally at customer sites.
Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to achieve fully coordinated designs.
Lead projects with multiple teams and research, evaluate, and implement new technologies.
Contribute creative ideas.
Your profile Qualifications Successful candidates have extensive experience in Electrical and Software Engineering and can independently lead projects.
HND or equivalent qualification.
7+ years of experience in Electrical and Software Engineering, preferably in the packaging industry.
Proficiency in programming with Rockwell and Beckhoff software.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with project leadership experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; customer-focused and interculturally competent.
Willingness to occasionally travel domestically and internationally (valid passport and driving license required).
