Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain APIs, microservices, and data pipelines
Optimise databases and craft complex SQL queries
Improve system performance across APIs and backend workflows
Participate in code reviews and drive engineering excellence
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth
What They’re Looking For
5+ years’ experience in Backend Engineering
Strong Python and Django experience
Experience with microservices architecture
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns
Excellent communication skills; ability to simplify complex concepts
Strong experience with relational databases & SQL optimisation
