The Role As Product Sales and Business Development Manager for Screw Packages, you’ll be at the forefront of driving global growth for one of Howden’s most dynamic product lines. Based in Renfrew and reporting to the GM of Sales and Business Development, this role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, influence markets, and deliver high‑value solutions across diverse industries.
You’ll be the go‑to expert for screw compressor applications, leading the charge in expanding market reach and deepening product knowledge across the global commercial organization. What You Will Do
Deliver on ambitious sales targets by growing existing markets and unlocking new application opportunities
Develop and execute product‑specific strategies that drive bookings and elevate Howden’s global presence
Collaborate closely with technical sales engineers to enhance proposal speed, accuracy, and effectiveness
Lead business development efforts including bid management, customer engagement, and contract negotiation
Create targeted marketing campaigns in partnership with the Marketing Manager to boost visibility and demand
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, presenting Howden’s capabilities and influencing specifications
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and CRM records via Salesforce, while supporting agent development globally
What do you bring?
Proven global sales experience in high‑spec engineering environments, with sharp commercial acumen
A strategic mindset with a hands‑on approach to turning ideas into action
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
A collaborative spirit and ability to coordinate across functions and regions
Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Industrial Markets is a plus
Familiarity with complex project terms and conditions, and a knack for simplifying technical solutions
Willingness to travel globally (up to 30%) and build strong relationships with clients and partners
