Key Account Manager – Sales / Project Engineer The Role:
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their goals and challenges.
Act as the main point of contact, ensuring clear communication, timely support and tailored solutions.
Identify opportunities for growth and deliver strategies that drive mutual success.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and exceed client expectations.
Monitor performance, forecast sales and provide regular updates to leadership.
Conduct contract renewals, site visits and safety checks to ensure quality and compliance.
Stay informed about market trends to keep services competitive and relevant.
The Person:
Strong planning, organisational and time management skills.
Positive, approachable and client-focused attitude.
Commercially aware with a practical, problem‑solving mindset.
Skilled in communication, influencing and negotiation.
Team‑oriented, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement.
Open to feedback and dedicated to professional growth.
Holds an HNC/Degree (or equivalent experience) in an electrical discipline; professional membership desirable.
Familiarity with electrical systems (PLC, SCADA, MCCs, etc.) is advantageous.
Demonstrated experience in Sales or Account Management, including managing key accounts.
Located in East Anglia, this role would be commutable from Peterborough, Cambridge, Northampton and other surrounding areas. Hybrid Working.
