With deep roots in the game and a long-standing presence at the world’s most prestigious golf events, both brands combine craftsmanship, performance and credibility at the highest level of the sport.
Due to planned succession within our UK sales structure, we are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded sales professional to manage and develop our South East England territory. This opportunity is open to either:
• a self‑employed Sales Agent, or • a fully employed Area Sales Manager,
depending on the experience and preference of the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow sales across the designated South East territory for both Glenmuir and Sunderland of Scotland
Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts, including PGA Professionals, golf clubs, resorts, and specialist retailers
Identify and develop new business opportunities within the territory
Present seasonal collections, manage pre‑book campaigns, and drive in‑season reorders
Deliver brand‑appropriate merchandising and product training where required
Represent the brands professionally at trade events, sales meetings, and customer presentations
Accurately forecast sales, manage customer data, and report activity in line with company expectations
Operate with a high degree of autonomy while aligning with agreed commercial strategy and brand standards
Work collaboratively with internal teams including Customer Services, Marketing, and Senior Management
Candidate Profile
Proven sales experience in golf industry, sports apparel, or a closely related sector
Strong existing network within the South East of England golf market
Commercially driven with excellent relationship‑building skills
Highly organised, self‑motivated, and capable of working autonomously
Professional, credible, and aligned with premium heritage brands
Strong understanding of premium brand positioning and the expectations of private members’ clubs and high‑end resorts
Full UK driving licence
Experience managing multi‑brand portfolios
Understanding of both stockist and trade business models
Experience working with PGA Professionals and golf clubs
Role Structure & Remuneration
Commission‑based remuneration (details dependent on experience and structure)
Ability to represent compatible complementary brands (subject to approval)
Full support from head office including customer service, logistics, and marketing
